...in Joomla? I have FCKEditor mambot and I installed it using Joomla's mambot installer but now what? How do I tell Joomla to actually use it as the default text editor? I read the documentation on FCKEditor and it doesn't clearly spell out how to use it with Joomla.

You can change the association for txt files:
open windows explorer
select tools | folder options
select file types
choose text files, select the fckeditor as the app to use
click ok

Go to the configuration tab. and from the editor section select FCKeditor. Make sure that in mambot you have published the FCKEditor.
