are they credible.. can someone truly get factual information from them.
for example..i go to an anti-muslim website ..that show u how islam is a horrible and whatever.. they hav many quotes ov the quran and stuff..then i go to a pro-muslim website..wich gives quotes and other Prof that islam is a great religion..same thing with christian or jewish website's

So can we just reli on website's for information..i.e. 9/11 conspiracy websites..their allot ov false info..?

Religious websites are fun (like http://www.chick.com ) but I don't use them for any real information.

This one seems to be fairly unbiased and they seem to do their research.

Information is easy to manipulate. It is up to people to decide what they believe or don't believe. The only way to do that is to learn and listen and think.

Don't just think what they tell you to think. Don't be a sheep.

The only way I can tell for sure if a web site is credible or not is to compare the information on them to what the Bible says. If it doesn't match up then it's not credible.

I'm sorry to hear that you are a Muslim. Not that I have anything against people who belong to the Muslim religion but because any religion that doesn't teach that Jesus Christ came down from Heaven and lived a sin free life so that He could pay our sin debt for us and then rose again to be seated at the right hand of his Father is a religion that will end up damning souls no matter how many other good things it might promote for our lives here on earth. I pray that you will consider Jesus and ask yourself how you are going to appear before the Holy God of Heaven if you have to answer for every sin you have already committed and will commit before you leave this earth.

The only websites I find credible are those from unbiased sources, such as large medical associations, i.e. the AMA and APA. Also, there are encyclopedic websites such as Wikipedia. If I need to know about a disease, I go to the CDC website.

Most websites are biased by their very nature. They are put together by people who have an agenda - such as the Family Research Council, which I'll use as an example. I spent quite a bit of time garnering information from their site a couple of years ago when I was active in message boarding on AOL. They provide "statistics" and "facts" about homosexuality for instance that are patently untrue. It doesn't matter to them - they are more than willing to twist or make up the numbers to achieve their ends. It's shameless how they never shrink from lying in the name of God, and then have the nerve to preach morals to the rest of America.

Really, we should all be more discerning about the websites we accept as fact.

There are lots of Islamic websites. Among them, some are very excellent and of course credible. I don't think a Muslim scholar would open a website to spread lies and whims. This can be done by the enemies of Islam.

As you are a Muslim, you are not supposed to visit anti-Islamic websites which are full of propaganda, even though they try to sound credible. Those are traps for Muslims. Most regular Muslims are of weak faith, and they are their target. When oblivious Muslims visit such sites, they may start thinking "really?" due to their ignorance of own religion.
